Karma: “Slackers will save the world.”
This app encourages an ‘effortless’ sustainable act: buying surplus food from restaurants, cafes and grocery stores (at a lower price) to reduce food waste. Surplus food usually would be uploaded in the afternoon, then users are able to order within the app and pick them up in store as take-away. It is active in London, Paris and throughout Sweden, with more than 9,000 connected restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and cafes.
