Extinction: The Game of Ecology allows the player to control the migration and reproduction of his/her species in order to compete with other species. The hexagons displayed on the board represent different habitat area’s the player can use to foster the growth of their species. Both gene cards and cards that represent environmental changes can alter the survivability of the player’s species. Play is continued until only one species survives.
