The PandaDroom [The Panda’s Dream] was an attraction in the Dutch themepark ‘Efteling’. It was built as a collaborative project with the Dutch branch of the World Wide Fund for Nature. This 4D experience started with a walk through the woods, was followed up by a short musical trailer in a cave, and then culminated in a main film complete with wind, smoke, and water effects. Even a collosal falling tree ‘threatens’ the audience. Together they show how different aquatic and terrestrial animals are harshly impacted by the climate crisis, and help create awareness that the care for the Earth is a collective responsibility.
