Bee Simulator allows a player to experience life as a honey bee. As a bee, the player is tasked with collecting pollen and defending the hive from outside threats. As the player explores the park around the hive, a scrapbook-like archive is being updated to categorise many of the encountered flora and fauna. This allows the player to actively learn about the bee ecosystem, the value of biodiversity, and the relationships between animals, including bees, and humans (Takemoto et al, 2021).
